Spike Mines Locations in Jakarta

Spike mines, consist of nails or other sharp objects to get flat tire, are spread in numerous locations around Jakarta. It is reported that criminals are using this method to get benefits, either from giving service to change the tire, or even worst: for robbery.

The Jakarta Police have declared the suspected areas where such crimes take place:

West Jakarta:

1. Jalan S Parman between Harapan Kita Hospital and Slipi Junction (including Slipi Fly Over).


2. The opposite direction; between Slipi to Tomang Junction.

1. Permata Hijau Fly Over heading Pondok Indah (especially in front of Istiqomah Mosque).


2. Jalan Arteri Pondok Indah; between William Mobil (CBU car dealer) to Kostrad Traffic Light.


3. Jalan Prof Satrio (from Mal Ambassador to Jalan Casablanca).


4. Casablanca Underpass (heading Mal Ambassador).


5. Jalan TB Simatupang (especially near Lenteng Agung Fly Over heading Pasar Minggu).


6. Jalan MT Haryono; between Menara Saidah to Kuningan Junction.


7. Jalan MT Haryono (especially around Pancoran Junctiondan).

1. Jalan Gatot Subroto; between Semanggi to Kuningan Junction, and also on opposite direction, especially in front of Bank Mandiri and Pajak Building.


2. On slow lane around Semanggi area.


3. Jalan Majapahit, west of Presidential Palace (heading north or Harmoni).
